Holiday Break Assignments:
The information and skills needed to complete these projects were practiced in class throughout December. Additionally, parts of the project were assigned as classwork and/or homework before the break to hone down the amount of work that students would have to do over the break.
610, 611, and 615 - Article about Ancient Egypt
We will be making a class magazine about Ancient Egypt. Each
student must submit an article about Ancient Egypt to be included in the
magazine.
The article must
include:

physical features and natural resources)
Ancient Egypt’s religion and how it relates to
geography
Ancient Egypt’s economy and how it relates to
geography
Ancient Egypt’s agriculture and how it relates
to geography
A title
A map with a caption
2 pictures with captions
First draft and final
draft of paragraphs: The first drafts of the paragraphs on Egypt’s geography and
religion were assigned for homework. If you did not complete them, you must
complete them over the holiday break. If you did complete them, you just need
to copy your paragraphs onto the final draft sheet and fix any mistakes you
made.
The project was assigned, read and discussed, with time for students to ask questions on: 12/18 (615), 12/20 (611 and 610).
